March 8, 2025 marks a historic milestone for Silk Path Đong Trieu Golf & Country Club as we officially signed a strategic partnership with the PGA of America – the world’s leading professional golf association. This significant event took place in Quảng Ninh and was honored by the special presence of golf legend Sir Nick Faldo, a six-time major winner and globally renowned golf course designer.

A Strategic Leap Towards Globalizing Vietnamese Golf

The collaboration between Silk Path Dong Trieu, Everygolf, and the PGA of America signifies a pivotal step in the professionalization of golf in Vietnam. This partnership not only affirms our pioneering role in the industry but also lays the foundation for a long-term strategy to standardize training, management, and tournament organization in line with international benchmarks.

With the backing of the PGA of America, Silk Path Dong Trieu and Everygolf will co-develop advanced training programs that empower young talents and professional golfers in Vietnam to gain access to world-class knowledge and techniques. Moreover, this partnership will create greater opportunities for Vietnamese golfers to compete in prestigious junior tournaments such as the PGA Junior Tour and the Junior PGA Championships—paving the way for them to step confidently onto the global stage.

Silk Path Đông Triều: A World-Class Venue Ready for Major Tournaments

During the signing ceremony, Sir Nick Faldo expressed his admiration for the Silk Path Dong Trieu Golf & Country Club, noting that it meets the international standards necessary to host major tournaments in Southeast Asia and beyond. He emphasized the importance of developing junior tournament systems and shared his vision of making Vietnam a host destination for events like the Faldo Series and other international competitions.

“I hope Vietnam will host more events like these to further promote golf in the country. Strong performances at such tournaments will give young golfers the platform they need to compete at higher levels across Southeast Asia and Asia as a whole,” shared Sir Nick Faldo.

Vietnam’s First PGA Junior Tournament Set to Launch

According to Mr. Nguyễn Thế Đại, Director of External Affairs at Silk Path Dong Trieu Golf & Country Club, preparations are underway in collaboration with the PGA of America to organize Vietnam’s very first PGA Junior Tour, tailored for athletes aged 7 to 16. This initiative will serve as a foundation to identify and nurture young talent, enabling them to progress through the PGA Junior system across Southeast Asia and Asia in the near future.
