VGA Junior Tour 2025 – Leg 6: Conquering the Challenge at PGA Silk Path Dong Trieu

PGA Silk Path Dong Trieu – a 27-hole championship golf course designed by legendary Sir Nick Faldo – proudly becomes the next host venue for VGA Junior Tour 2025: Race to TaylorMade – Leg 6, taking place from November 8–9th, 2025.

This event will gather 80 talented junior golfers from across Vietnam — the nation’s rising stars who continue to demonstrate skill, determination, and sportsmanship on their journey to the top of Vietnamese junior golf.

Officially opened in early 2025, PGA Silk Path Dong Trieu has quickly been recognized as the “Most Luxurious Golf Course in Quang Ninh, Vietnam” by the Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2025. With a Course Rating of 76.4 and Slope of 150, this 27-hole masterpiece is considered one of the most demanding and rewarding tests of golf skills — even for seasoned players.

Ready for the Defining Swings!

Before the tournament, junior golfers will have the opportunity to practice at the PGA of America-standard Driving Range, featuring 23 natural-grass hitting bays and a dedicated short game area — the ideal environment to warm up and fine-tune their techniques ahead of the main rounds.

About VGA Junior Tour 2025: Race to TaylorMade – Leg 6

The tournament is open to all amateur junior golfers, both boys and girls, in accordance with the Rules on Amateur Status as defined by The R&A and USGA.

Categories by age group:
▪️ Boys & Girls U8–9
▪️ Boys U11 – U13 – U15 – U18
▪️ Girls U11 – U13 – U18

Competition Format:
▪️ Age groups U13 and above: Stroke play over three rounds (54 holes) – no cut applied.
▪️ Age groups under 13: Stroke play over two rounds (36 holes).
▪️ U8–9 group: Maximum score per hole: Quadruple Bogey (+4 strokes).

Awards:
▪️ Overall Champion: Lowest gross score across all 54-hole divisions (1 title).
▪️ Division Winners: Top 3 lowest gross scores (1st – 2nd – 3rd) in each age group.
